Accidentally Over from the Author: Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. When it comes to Máax, the God of Truth who refuses to follow the rules, there's more to him than meets the eye. Literally. Because Maáx is invisible! Which is probably why, after seventy-thousand years, he's still unable to find a mate. Ashli Rosewood was never meant to die. In fact, her death might be the very reason the gods are now faced with stopping that pesky doomsday right around the corner. If only there was a way to undo the past. Cue Máax. Seven feet of divine masculinity and the unruly god charged with saving Ashli. With a little help from an ancient Mayan tablet, Máax will travel back in time and set things right. Easy, right? Wrong. Because Máax has one teensy challenge. He's invisible. And every time this impatient, powerful deity gets anywhere near Ashli, he spooks her right into harm's way. Meaning...she dies, and he has to start all over again. Cliff, banana peel, runaway storage container filled with Belgian chocolates, bee sting, the list goes on and on. Does the Universe have it out for this girl? Sure seems that way. But why? And what will Máax do when he begins to suspect that not only is Ashli the key to stopping the apocalypse, but she may be "the one" he's been waiting seventy-thousand years for. How will he save the one woman the Universe insists on killing and who wants nothing to do with him? Approx. 85,000 words. The Accidentally Yours Series BOOK 1: Accidentally in Love with...a God? Accidentally Overweight from the Author: Dr Libby Weaver.

"What leads the human body to get the message that it needs to store fat and what leads the human body to get the message that it needs to burn fat?" In a dynamic, fresh approach to weight loss, acclaimed nutritional biochemist Dr Libby Weaver discusses the nine factors that cause us to either lose or gain weight. These factors include: calories, stress hormones, sex hormones, liver function, thyroid function, gut bacteria, insulin, the nervous system and emotions. Let's face it - for many people it is not a lack of education that leads them to polish off a packet of chocolate biscuits after dinner, but their biochemistry and emotions.Accidentally Overweight explores the role of these two factors in fat storage and optimal wellness.

Accidentally Overweight was born out of the 14 years Dr Libby spent at university, her strong scientific background in both nutrition and dietics and her PhD in biochemistry. Libby has thousands of stories about how, what she calls the 'calorie equation' (how much you eat versus how much you move) is not the only determinant of our body shape and size. At the end of the day, if it was truly as simple as the calorie equation, everyone would be trim, taut and terrific and there'd be no health consequences because of excess body weight. This is not just another diet book - it is a life-changing way of understanding your body and health.

Government Support For Beagle 2 Twelfth Report Of Session 2003 04 Report Together With Formal Minutes Oral And Written Evidence from the Author: Great Britain: Parliament: House of Commons: Science and Technology Committee. The focus of this inquiry, by the Science and Technology Committee, was the support by the UK Government for the Beagle 2 project developed as part of the European Space Agency's (ESA) Mars Express mission. The Committee found the Government showed enthusiasm for this project, but was unable to provide a guaranteed financial backing for the development of a lander, resulting in a failure to secure sufficient sponsorship income, which was subsequently seen to have a detrimental impact on the project's success. The Committee feels, that Government needs to put in place a system that can deal with major financial commitments at short notice. In hindsight, the development of the lander and orbiter separately is seen as wrong, impeding the flexible co-ordination of the mission, leading to tensions between the Beagle 2 consortium, ESA and other contractors. Further, there was a lack of co-ordinated oversight between these three groups, and therefore a failure to identify important weaknesses in the mission. Despite the failure of Beagle, the Committee does see some positive potential for future projects, both in scientific and educational benefits, but that the costs of such projects would benefit from greater participation by other organizations.

Accidentally In Love from the Author: Laura Drewry. Fans of Jill Shalvis and Susan Mallery will love Laura Drewry’s warm and humorous new Friends First romance, a sexy romp about a good cop and a bad girl playing hard to get. Ellie Palmer and cops don’t mix, and getting pulled over by Officer Brett Hale—again—doesn’t help. Neither does being forced to take a safe-driving course with him. Brett’s by-the-book attitude leaves Ellie ice-cold, and his rock-hard body won’t change that. Still, the more time she spends with the guy, the more she finds herself warming up to his unexpected charms. Even though Brett comes off like a boy scout, Ellie has sparked something he wants badly enough to get him to rethink his past mistakes. But when her ex shows up, Brett makes it his mission to keep Ellie safe in the here and now. His gut tells him the guy’s trouble, and Ellie must agree, because she doesn’t complain when Brett pulls her close. To keep her safe, though, he’ll have to choose between breaking her heart . . . and breaking the rules. Praise for the Friends First series “A tale told well . . . The book then examines herbicides and fungicides and related compounds. Topics include nitrogen heterocyclic fungicides not otherwise classified, hydrazines, hydrozones, and diazo fungicides, anilino and nitrobenzenoid fungicides, antibiotics and botanicals, organic phosphorus herbicides, carbamate herbicides, and herbicidal oils and simple aliphatics. The publication elaborates on miscellaneous pesticides, including repellents, synthetic molluscicides, inhibitors of chitin synthesis, chemosterilants, and synthetic acaricides.
